Cypress Lake Description

Closest Town: St. Cloud Lake Size: 5,500 Acres Public Boat Access: Located off Lake Cypress Rd. in St. Cloud Lake Notes: Specializing in Largemouth Bass, Bluegill and Shellcracker. Part of the Kissimmee Chain of lakes. Bass fishing in Central Florida near Orlando is world class year-round. The spawn occurs between December and April at which time bass will be at their heaviest. Eight to ten pound trophy-class fish are possible on any given day, with a chance at even a larger bass. Fish weighing in the teens are not uncommon for this area.

Cypress Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lee County, Florida, United States. The population was 12,072 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Cape Coral?Fort Myers Metropolitan Statistical Area.
