  • 3D mapping - In addition to the terrain map and birds eye view, there is now an option on each trip and location page to do a "3D Fly Through" of that location. The first time you will need to download a Google Earth Plugin, but it only takes a minute and is well worth it.

  • Print Topo Maps - I have just added a new button to the map that allows you to print topo maps for your current map view. • Create a Group - Have a group of friends that all share similar interests? If so, then become one of the first to create a new group to share and collaborate with friends. You can set your group to either Public or Private status. Then you can invite friends to join. It's a great way to start dialog with anglers of similar interests. Right now there is a link under the Find Users tab to search for and create groups. There is also a link in your personal profile.

  • Add Fish Location to Map - We are happy to announce that you are now able to add fishing locations to the map that we have not yet plotted. There are still a lot of locations around the state that we just haven't had a chance to map yet, so we need your help adding them. To get started, just go to the Map View and use the tool "Add Fishing Location" in the tackle box to map any lakes, rivers, or streams that you know about (and are not yet added). All our members will greatly appreciate your help, and of course you will get credit for plotting the location.

Note: This is not an alternative to the My Trips functionality. Locations are only plotted once for each lake, river or stream, whereas you can plot many trips for one location.

  • Fish species details - You can now add comments, photos, recipes and more for all the fish species on the site. This adds another layer of interaction that should help you share and learn about any specific fish that you are interested in. Click here to get started. Enjoy!

  • Profile Styles - Now you can customize your profile even more. Change profile colors, add a background photo, and set table transparencies. New fonts are also coming soon! To change your profile style, go to the My Profile tab and scroll to the bottom of the page.
